Embodying our motto, “We bleed orange and blue but drink red,” this wine is a nod to the family’s two generations of UVA alums. Our latest vintage is a deep magenta blend of mostly Merlot. A slightly toasty oak nose couples with sweet cherry and purple plum aromatics that linger into the palate. Initially robust tannins soften into dark fruits, making this wine a compliment to steaks, portabella mushrooms, and other grilled dishes. 615 cases made; drink now through 2020.
